Hold Corporations Accountable – Support SB 66

If an arbitrary fine from a sports commissioner cannot be written off on an owner’s taxes, then neither should punitive damages imposed on billion-dollar corporations in a court of law.  The Legislature must be consistent and punish this reprehensible behavior.  Tax breaks should promote actions that benefit society, not reward corporations for defrauding customers and oppressing employees.

NAFTA Renegotiations Must Prioritize Working People

Its official- President Trump is looking to renegotiate the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).  News broke when the White House sent an official notice to Congress that failed to include details or a hint of the President’s vision on how he plans to renegotiate the notoriously flawed trade agreement. Working people and their unions were quick to respond.
