More information on the march from organizers:

Dozens of labor, environmental, racial justice and peace-seeking groups, including Comité VIDA, 350 Sonoma, Peace & Justice Center of Sonoma County, Sierra Club Redwood Chapter, North Bay Jobs With Justice, Community Action Coalition and Service Employees International Union, are leading a march and rally April 29 to promote freedom and justice for all and continued action to curb climate change.

The event is a merging of the traditional Sonoma County May Day march for workers’ and immigrants’ rights and a sister March for Climate, Jobs, and Justice in Washington, D.C. The May Day March, annually organized by the May 1st Coalition, honors International Workers’ Day, and this year, with a larger coalition, points to the growing resistance against the Trump administration’s increasingly destructive policies on its 100th day in office.
