Celebrating Union Labor & Pension Capital at 333 Harrison Construction Project

, in cooperation with the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council (BCTC), hosted a lunch today to honor the union workers who are building a new residential development at 333 Harrison in the city’s South of Market neighborhood. The HIT is providing $70 million of union pension capital to help finance construction of the $105 million project. The union-built, seven-story residential structure will have 326 rental units and create approximately 600 jobs for members of San Francisco’s building and construction trades unions.

AFL-CIO’s Housing Investment Trust Honors Union Construction Workers at Potrero Launch Project in San Francisco


The AFL-CIO Housing Investment Trust (HIT), in cooperation with the San Francisco Building and Construction Trades Council (BCTC) and Nibbi Brothers General Contractor, hosted a special lunch for union workers at the Potrero Launch Apartments construction site in the city’s Central Waterfront area.  The union-built residential development will offer 196 rental units, create more than 460 union jobs during the construction period, and provide affordable housing, child care, and commercial development for the community.
