IATSE, NABET-CWA and IBEW Unite for Justice at Fox TV Stations

The International Alliance of Theatrical and Stage Employees (IATSE), the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) and the National Association of Broadcast Employees and Technicians-Communications Workers of America (NABET-CWA) are standing together at FOX TV stations in Chicago, Detroit, New York, Philadelphia, Washington and Los Angeles.

Negotiations have been dragging on for months — and even years — at WFLD, WNYW/WWOR, WTXF, WTTG/WDCA, and KTTV/KCOP, and are about to begin at WJBK. FOX management has insisted on turning back the clock on our wages, our jurisdiction, and our benefits. Despite double-digit revenue increases in recent years, and despite being rated now as the top owned TV station group in the industry, company executives are looking to squeeze extra profits off the backs of IATSE, IBEW, and NABET-CWA members. Management is attacking vacations, meal periods, and everything else we have worked so hard to gain over many years.

But now we are pushing back. On May 8, 2013, we are standing united with informational hand billing outside of FOX TV stations and corporate offices across the country. We will be sending a clear message to management and to the public that all three unions and our members will not be divided, and that we demand a fair contract in each city. We're also encouraging all of our union brothers and sisters to bring our message inside the workplace by wearing the “IATSE~NABET~IBEW UNITED FOR ONE CAUSE” wristband on the job and all day.

Post a message on Facebook and express your support for the workers at Fox 11 in LA.
